Installed in the 'Verrerie de Biot', the Biot Glass Ecomuseum highlights and popularizes the Provencal tradition of glassmaking by safeguarding and transmitting the technique of blown and bubbled glass through introductory courses and by exhibiting old pieces and tools. Events and demonstrations organized in the glassmakers hall recreate all the stages in the manufacture of a piece of glassware, from its picking by apprentices to its completion by master glassmakers.
