One of the techniques for keeping bubbles inside the glass rests upon adapting the stages of its firing. Glass melting takes place around 2,732°F (1,500°C) and is generally followed by a refining phase - around 2,552°F (1,400°C) - essentially consisting of ridding the molten glass of the gases that may appear in the form of bubbles. The elimination of the refining process, therefore, allows obtaining distinctive irregular bubbles.
