The beginning of the Gorges du Tarn

0
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park extends within the Causses and Cévennes territory. The village of Rivière-sur-Tarn marks the beginning of the Gorges du Tarn, and its 12th-century castle, listed as a Historical Monument since 1998, clings to the slope of the Causse. A path brings together 23 castles in the Aveyron department. Baptized Route des Seigneurs du Rouergue (Route of the Rouergue's Lords), it allows discovering the historical richness of the region.
