The beach of Saint-Clair

The sandy beach of Saint-Clair constitutes one of the largest and most appreciated in the municipality of Le Lavandou on the Var coastline. It is limited to the west by the Calanques du Pilon and the rocky point of Nard Viou (foreground), and east by the built point of the Pierres Blanches and the Calanques du Four des Maures. Supervised for swimming from May to September, the beach of Saint-Clair is sheltered behind pines in the eponymous residential area of Le Lavandou.
