Located at the end of a jetty extended during the expansion of the site at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, the pyramidal lighthouse of Nice secures the approach of the ships and their entry into the port dug in the former Lympia pond. Seventy-two feet (22 meters) high and automated, it is equipped with a lantern with a range of 37 kilometers or 20 nautical miles.
