Located on the left bank of the Seine, the 7th arrondissement of Paris is one of the beautiful districts in the centre west of the capital. It had 48,888 inhabitants in 2019. The 7th covers 409 hectares to the south-east of the Eiffel Tower, from the Rue des Saints-Pères to the Avenue de Suffren. The arrondissement is home to many institutions such as the Hôtel Matignon, the National Assembly, the Hôtel des Invalides, the Ecole Militaire, the headquarters of UNESCO and several embassies. The Invalides district, visible on this aerial photo, is one of the most expensive in the capital.
