As part of its Center for the Valorization of Norman Territorial Horses, and in particular Percherons, the Haras National du Pin works in close collaboration with the National Association of the Percheron Breed (SHP), in charge of the promotion and valorization of the breed, as well as with the Perche Regional Nature Park, the Orne department, and the IFCE (French Institute of Horse and Riding). They collaborate to develop new markets (vineyards, urban work) for the breed and help breeders to adapt the horses to these new markets by entrusting them very young to the stud agents for their training. The communication on horses as well as the promotion and organization of sales or meetings between buyers and breeders are also part of the missions of the stud farm and its partners.
