Parade dress of the National Studs

0
The parade dress of the National Studs and, therefore, of the Haras National du Pin has evolved and changed color over time. It is currently regulated by an order from the Minister of Agriculture dated July 1, 1974. The cocked hat and soft kepi worn by the officers until the middle of the 20th century was followed by a rigid kepi, embroidered with acanthus leaves and then with braids. The parade dress consists of a braided red cloth jacket and black trousers. Since 1874, horse-head buttons have adorned the uniforms and fixed the braid of the kepi.
