Temple of Apollo

This temple was built in the grounds of Stourhead house in Wiltshire in 1765. It was designed by the architect Henry Flitcroft. The design is probably influenced by The temple of the sun at Kew which is a copy of the Baalbec temple. The views across the estate from the temple are beautiful.
