Le théâtre Olympique de l'architecte Andrea Palladio a été construit entre 1580 et 1585. Palladio ne l'a pas vue achevée en raison de sa mort subite.
Le théâtre est situé sur la Piazza Matteotti n. 11 à Vicenza, ville inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco grâce aux nombreux chefs-d'œuvre architecturaux de Palladio qui parsèment le centre historique. Le théâtre peut accueillir environ 400 personnes et est le plus ancien théâtre couvert en maçonnerie au monde.
