Tamaskan, an evolving breed

The Tamaskan is an 'evolving' breed developed since the 1980s with the aim of creating dogs with the physical characteristics of wolfhounds but sufficiently docile, friendly and adaptable to be able to participate in all kinds of canine activities, including mushing. It comes from the crossing of Nordic dogs (Huskies, Malamutes, ...), German shepherd dogs and several species of wolfhounds.
