The ura or the Kuhl's Lorikeet, Vini kuhlii, is one of the most beautiful birds in French Polynesia. Its scientific name comes from its particular way of singing and from the fact that the individuals are in permanent sound contact. Vini means 'talkative' or 'to answer each other' in Tahitian language.
