Taking to the skies

Under the blue sky of Corsica, the flamboyant color of flamingos in flight offers a dreamlike spectacle. They fly together, their frail neck and legs are stretched. Despite their weight and size, their flight is energetic. But to take off from the ground, they have to run to gain speed.
They live in large colonies to protect themselves from predators and to watch over young people. When they do not look for food, they rest on one leg, like storks.
