The Gruissan salt pond is a site with remarkable colors that welcomes 150,000 visitors each year. This tourist site is also considered a major industrial asset with its 15,000 tons of salt produced annually. The salina extends near the town of Gruissan, surrounded by the sea on one side and the Ayrolle pond on the other. This protected and privileged natural space where the most natural and organic salt in the region is produced was labeled Regional Nature Park Value in 2018.
