Emerged land area of Bora Bora

0
The emerged land area of Bora Bora covers only 18sqmi (29km2), of which 4.3 to 4.9sqmi (7-8km2) are massifs and uninhabitable slopes. As for the coast, it is not uniformly favorable to seaside tourism. The hotel complexes were therefore first concentrated along the beaches of the south of the island, from Povai Bay to Matira and Paoaoa points, before extending to Motu Toopua on the edge of the former caldera and to the vast sandy motu covering the barrier reef to the north and east.
