Après avoir remonté le canal de Caen à la mer jusqu’au Château de Bénouville, L’Hermione fait escale et s’amarre au quai Jean Charcot dans le port de Ouistreham.
Une occasion de pouvoir profiter de cette réplique de la frégate qui a conduit pour sa deuxième traversée le marquis de La Fayette aux États-Unis en 1780, lui permettant de rejoindre les insurgés américains en lutte pour leur indépendance.
