Street art is very present in Perpignan. Thanks to the Urban Art Up association created in 2017, street artists and other urban cultures are highlighted and valued in the city and the Roussillon region. These cultures bring together graffiti, stencil, hip-hop dance, tattoo, and BMX, among other fields and activities. Like this fresco of two cheetahs by the artist Marko 93, many urban works adorn the walls and passageways of Perpignan. The city also hosted the 2016 occasion of the Meeting of Styles international festival, a major reference in terms of urban culture in the world.
