This steam locomotive used to connect Trinidad with the sugar meal factory in the Ingenious Valley in Cuba. In 1893, the Atteins-Havenmener Mercantile Society founded Trinidad Sugar Mill factory, an expression of the sugar concentration and centralisation process that had been developing in the region since the Ten Years War (1868-1878). In 1913 it had managed to concentrate all the sugar production in the Valley under the action of its interests and two years later it was modernised. After the cuban revolution in 1959 it is called "Central FNTA" National Federation of Sugar Workers. In 2004, the working activities of the factory were completed as a result of the Cuban sugar industry arrangement. Nowadays it seems not to work anymore.
