Animals bronze statues

Animals have long been immortalized in bronze, an alloy of copper and tin. This tradition has existed since the Renaissance, in the 15th century, but experienced its peak at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The process starts with a model first made from clay or plaster. An imprint is then poured into the mold, half by half. The production of animal statues in the GHM foundry in Sommevoire is renowned all over the world.
