Die St. Vitus-Kirche in Schinna hatte bereits zwei Vorgängerkirchen und wurde 1886 im neugotischen Stil aus roten Backsteinen erbaut. Besonders sehenswert sind der aus dem Kloster Schinna stammende spätgotische Schnitzaltar und im Eingangsbereich die Halbskulptur Johann Elmenhorsts, des letzten ausharrenden Mönches, der sich gegen die Auflösung des Klosters Schinna stemmt.
