Spotting the bubbles

0
In Lalique's factory, some workers dedicate themselves to spotting all the imperfections of the glass. They are called bouillons (bubbles) and mainly consist of four types. The formation bouillons consist of trapped gas bubbles. The pickling bouillons accidentally form between two layers of molten material. The cane bouillons are present on the inner surface of the object. Finally, the broken bouillons are those scattered on the surface of the glass. The workers in this part of the factory also have to spot filaments, tiny earth grains, or cracks susceptible to decrease the quality of the crystal.
