When a girafe spots something from a distance, like a danger, or a potential predator, it freezes for a moment and looks attentively in the direction, ears perked up. This behavior, sometimes combined with coughs or other kind of vocalisations, warn smaller animals of the presence of predators. Here, this male girafe spotted a pride of lions sleeping a little further in the bush.
