The induration and gresification of the siliceous sands of the Massif des Ocres are linked to the surface or deep circulation of water (H2O). This heterogeneous circulation is guided by breaks and the more or less compact and permeable nature of each area. It leads to heterogeneous gresification and induration at the origin of particular morphologies, sometimes spectacular like those visible in the Provençal Colorado in Luberon.
