The cheetah is is a predator specialized for speed. It can reach around 68 miles/h (110km/h), only a few hundred meters. This ability is an asset for hunting. Its preys are mostly antelopes, gazelles, impalas, young warthogs, springboks, hares. Its long tail, striped at the end, serves as an essential balancing pole in the race.
