Solitary and territorial rhinoceros
The white rhino is solitary and very territorial. He demarcates his territory with visual and olfactory marks. He scrapes the ground, and marks grasses and bushes with his urine. He also defecates on some kind of latrines, before kicking his dung. Females and other males will do the same, at the same place. In this way, territorial bulls will identify the individuals that came in their territory.
