Since the COVID-19 pandemic, winegrowers have struggled to find workers for the harvests. Certain Grand Crus, such as Gevrey-Chambertin (Côte-d'Or), do not hesitate to employ political refugees whose administrative formalities have been made more flexible. Malians, Afghans, or Ukrainians find themselves more present in the vineyards, and all express their satisfaction. Since November 2020, the IPeR-ACTIFS 21 system has been responsible for putting winegrowers and refugees into contact. A way of linking solidarity to sustainable development in Burgundy.
