L’Helxine de Soleirol est une plante herbacée de la famille des Urticacées.
C’est une plante vivace fréquemment utilisée comme couvre-sol.
Ses tiges filiformes peuvent atteindre 50 centimètres de long. Ses feuilles, circulaires ou oblongues, d’un vert luxuriant, donnent le caractère décoratif de son feuillage.
Ses fleurs blanches ou roses sont minuscules et ne sont généralement pas perçues.
