Snow walking, the equipment
0
0
These members of The Explorers team loaded with their photographic equipment follow a sled trail in the Haut-Jura Regional Nature Park, which prevents them from sinking into the snow and exhausting themselves. In deep snow, the use of snowshoes would be essential. Their shape and sieve adapt their reach and reduce sinking while avoiding digging the tracks with footprints. As for the use of poles, it is invaluable for the walkers’ balance on this potentially slippery surface.
