Terre de Lin is a major stakeholder in the textile flax industry. Each year, transforming an area of 32,120 acres (13,000 ha) of flax, the cooperative accounts for 15% of world flax production. Terre de Lin brings together 600 Norman farmers and employs 220 people spread over six production sites in Normandy. It is constantly innovating in the creation of new flax varieties, the production of seeds, scutching and combing of flax fiber, as well as the valorization of flax anas.
