Built in the 16th century, the Saint-James-and-Saint-Philip Church of Lentilles is surrounded by a little cemetery. Stone being scarce in the Aube region, men built churches with the same materials as their houses out of mud, cob, and wood. The interior, uncoated, reveals sandpits and posts. The original wooden ceiling of the church was discovered in 1970 during the dismantling of the old plaster one and restored. The walls adorned with simple windows display crosses of Saint Andrew. The choir is decorated with woodwork and a classical scrolled altarpiece. The church holds baptismal fonts from the 12th century, a Pietà from the 16th century, and a statue of Saint Helena.
