Several steps before picking
0
0
Several steps are necessary before the time for picking vine bunches arrives. At the beginning of spring, the twigs pruned in winter begin to weep drops of sap, followed by the appearance of buds and leaves. With summer comes flowering that creates clusters of 100 to 200 flowers. At the beginning of June, the grapes emerge as a fruit set. The winegrower then cuts the leaves that hide them from the sun and can reduce the number of bunches to leave only the lowest and most beautiful. Through this work, he facilitates that of the cutters during the harvest.
