Seven speleological routes

Nowadays, silver is mined in South America (Mexico, Peru, Chile), Australia, and China. In the Vosges mountains, the Saint-Jean vein was discovered in 1549. At that time, miners were equipped with only rudimentary tools (pointers, hammers) and the labour was exhausting to say the least. The Saint-Jean Engelsbourg/Tellure silver mine closed for good in 1907. The Tellure Mining Park offers to explore every corner of the former silver mine in caving mode. The seven routes and the via ferrata are suitable for all levels and accessible to children from 8 years old. State-qualified guides accompany the apprentice cavers.
