Seoul (Korean: 서울); lit. 'Capital'), officially the Seoul Special City, is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea. It has a population of 9.7 million people, and forms the heart of the Seoul Capital Area with the surrounding Incheon metropolis and Gyeonggi province. The picture was taken from the Namsan Park during a cold winter morning, which is a public recreation area at the Nam Mountain, a 262 meters high peak near Seoul. It offers some hiking, picnic areas and views of downtown Seoul's skyline.
