Senetosa, the most isolated lighthouse in southern corsica

South of the Gulf of Valinco, the lighthouse of Senetosa signals the shipping route from the Gulf of Ajaccio to Bonifacio. One of the towers projects flashes of white light, the other illuminates the dangerous maritime areas with red light.
Until the 1950s, two keepers lived here with their families. Isolated, they were supplied by a mule driver. The lighthouse was automated in 1988.
