The Explorers
The Corsican Cape's semaphore is located on the Capo Grosso at the end of a narrow road in an hostile environment covered with a low vegetation. The cliff on which it stands often undergoes Libecciu winds around 124mi/h (200km/h) and a dismounted sea. Ten military watchmen from the French Navy provide there a 24 hours a day public service mission.
