A village with numerous attractions

The village of Séguret in the Vaucluse department has many attractions. It extends within a natural environment on the edge of the Dentelles de Montmirail at the junction of the road crossing the mountain leading to Crestet and that linking Vaison-la-Romaine to Carpentras. Séguret also displays a rich heritage that testifies to the eventful history of a village long torn between the Count of Toulouse, the King of France, the Pope, and the Prince of Orange. Visitors can notably discover there the Rue des Poternes, the fountain of Mascarons, the belfry, the Sainte-Thècle chapel, the Rue du Four, the Saint-Denis church, the washhouse, the Place des Arceaux, and the two gates (de la Bise and Neuf) that once gave access to the village.
