The Panorama Room of the Sedan Castle (Ardennes) features a fascinating model of the city in 1830, measuring 7 metres by 4.5 metres. Conceived by Jean-Jacques Dromby, the work required seventeen years of work by a handful of volunteers with a passion for history The entire city is reconstructed in great detail, including chimneys and gardens. One discovers the system of fortifications, most of which were demolished after 1870, as well as the districts that disappeared during the bombing of May 1940, which destroyed 34% of the city.
