Seasons over Madine Lake
0
0
Madine Lake spreads over the departments of Meuse (93%) and Meurthe-et-Moselle (7%) within the Lorraine Regional Nature Park. The climate in the Woëvre plain, where it extends, is of degraded oceanic type with a continental influence. Winters are humid, foggy, and cold, even though the temperatures recently rose due to global warming. Spring lasts late and sometimes experiences temperature differences up to 69° F (21° C) that generate thick fogs. Autumn is also often persistent, and summer is short and hot.
