Sant’Antonino, the pearl of the Balagne
1
0
Located more than 10 km (6.2 mi) from L'Île-Rousse, yet Sant'Antonino offers a breathtaking view of the bay. Perched on a granite hill since the 9th century, this medieval village that Corsicans call Sant'Antulinu di Balagna overhangs the plain of Aregno and the valley of Reginu.
Visible from all sides in Balagne, it is one of the oldest villages on the Mediterranean island. Its unique picturesque architecture and its rich heritage make it an atypical place classified among the most beautiful villages in France.
