The Kanah Nah Structure (The Tall House structure) This is one of the largest structures in San Gervasio. It can be said that is does not have inner space, since benches and an altar occupy almost all the area. The entire temple was stuccoed and painted red, ochre, blue, green and black. The base and stairway are decorated with small human faces sculpted in stone. Due to its special characteristics it could have been the sanctuary of the godess Ixchel. It was constructed during the Post Classic Period (1,200 - 1,650 A.D.)
