Saint-Claude at the confluence of the Bienne and Tacon rivers

0
The town of Saint-Claude is located at the bottom of a steep-sided valley in the Jura massif in the south of the eponymous department, at the confluence of the Bienne and Tacon rivers. Very incised, the city has no less than six bridges of different architectures and eras. Three - the Avignon bridge, the stone bridge (photo) and the central bridge - span the Bienne, while the other three - the faubourg bridge, the pipe bridge and the large bridge - cross the Tacon.
