Ce château occupe le sommet du Schönberg, en Forêt Noire. Il fut construit en 1250 par Walter Ier Von Geroldseck. Cette imposante ruine du 13ème siècle a été détruite par les troupes françaises au 17ème siècle. Une association s’occupe de sa restauration depuis 1958.
