Rue Loubon is a typical alleyway that crosses an entire district of the historical center of Aix-en-Provence. It is dedicated to the Provençal realist painter Émile Charles Joseph Loubon (1809-1863) who studied with François Marius Granet and founded the Société des Amis des Arts of Marseille. The street opens onto the green wall of the facade of a building housing a restaurant on its ground floor.
