'Rue de Besançon', which connects Place Jules Grévy to Place Nationale Charles-de-Gaulle, is the main commercial street in downtown Dole in the Jura department. To give a new impulse into its businesses and attract customers to the downtown shops, the municipality has undertaken extensive renovation and development works over several months. The inauguration of the renovated street took place in May 2018. Its very designed bins are now regularly picked up by the Val d'Amour teams.
