Rocky passage between Corsica and Sardinia
1
0
The archipelago of the Lavezzi Islands is located between Corsica and Sardinia. In very ancient times dating back to the Paleolithic, it was possible to reach the two large Mediterranean islands on foot: the sea level was much lower and the islands of Cavallo, Lavezzo and Ratino formed a unique island and therefore a rocky passage. The Lavezzo Island (in the foreground) is one of the only islands in the archipelago with the Piana island where the landing of people is allowed.
