Revealing the artist's process

The importance of stained glass in the work of Marc Chagall is preponderant. He created models for many buildings between 1959 and 1984. The artist spread his imagination steeped in spirituality in Saint Stephen Cathedral in Metz, at the United Nations in New York, in Israel, etc. The east and south of France also welcomed some of Chagall's work. His sketches, exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in Metz, reveal a little of his artistic process.
