It cannot be visited but it is an emblematic site of the Champagne region and offers one of the most beautiful views over the surrounding vineyards The Verzenay mill was restored in 1949 under the impetus of Mr Rémy, director of the Charles Heidsieck champagne house, owner of the mill at the time. Carpentry, joinery, and painting work was undertaken and the four wings were rebuilt and fixed. Currently owned by the G.H. Mumm champagne house, the Verzenay windmill is a listed historic monument.
