The Naturellement Normande farm established near Vire is renowned in the Calvados department for its conversion to organic in all aspects. Its Norman cows graze for at least six months on plots not treated with pesticides and hay from their property in winter. This diet ensures their milk's renowned fruity taste. The farm's cheeses have obtained the only PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) label in the department.
