Cluny Abbey offers visitors a park of more than 7 acres (nearly 3 ha) that surrounds the remains of the Cluny III abbey church and the monastic buildings in the Saône-et-Loire department. Created in the middle of the 14th century, the park houses gardens that have evolved along with the buildings. Its gatehouse was modified in the 18th century during the construction of the vast convent complex in classical style visible on the right. In 2018, a thirty-minute garden tour was set up around nine stations marked by mediation panels.
