The archaeological site of Alésia has revealed the remains of several buildings with columns and porticoes. In particular, a monument dedicated to Ucuetis (the Celtic god of metallurgy) was found, serving as a place of worship for the corporation of bronze makers and blacksmiths of the Gallo-Roman city. Its courtyard was lined with porticoes. A four-column temple surrounded by a 2nd-century enclosure has also been excavated. It would have been dedicated to Taranis (the Celtic god of sky and storm) or Jupiter (the father of the gods and the Roman god of earth, sky, and living things). In 2016, the archaeological site of Alésia was integrated into the MuséoParc Alésia of Alise-Sainte-Reine, inaugurated four years earlier.
